You are not alone. Someone is there.
When you are going through your storm it helps to know that someone is there. Sometimes we forget and try to do things our way, thinking that we can have everything or be successful on our own, and when things go wrong we want to know what happened. What’s your excuse? So many of us complain – we cannot do this or that, we are not smart enough, we do not have what it takes, we want to wait until this or that happens before taking action. The list goes on and on. It is as if we need permission to get our act together.
Have you ever wondered why God gave you this life? You can get up every day, you enjoy the sunshine, the rain, the fruits and vegetables, the beauty of the flowers, and you are given a full 24 hours just like everyone else. So, what is your excuse? Why should you not use your talents and skills and enjoy this life? You never could tell, you might just be helping someone else in the process.
You see when you look at your excuses you can turn them into opportunities. Think of every problem you can come up with, then look for the opportunity in it.
Just for today enjoy each moment, see the beauty in everything and everyone you encounter. If God does not complain about providing you with all the graces that you need then why should you complain?
